Ahmed bin Hareb appointed General Manager Hospitality at DWTC

The Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) has announced the appointment of UAE national Ahmed bin Hareb to the post of General Manager Hospitality with effect from today, August 3rd 2003.

Mr. bin Hareb holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Holy Names University, California, USA and has held various senior positions in Dubai's hospitality industry.

He commenced his career in 1987 with Al Boom Tourist Village and moved up the corporate ladder to become Managing Director in 1993.

On taking up his new position at the head of DWTC's Hospitality division, Mr. bin Hareb said he would aim to increase the profitability of the division and make positive contributions to the DWTC's bottom line.

"Ahmed bin Hareb is recognised throughout the UAE's hospitality industry for his management expertise and his involvement with the creation of one of the biggest catering companies for indoor and outdoor catering. His wide ranging contacts with influential families in the UAE will add new strength to our hospitality team," said DWTC Director General, Mubarak bin Fahad.
