United
Airlines today announced that it will reinstate certain Pacific flights cancelled due to the
SARS related drop in demand while increasing the frequency of other flights to Asia. In all, United will offer 3,349 mainline and
United Express flights in August.
Effective August 1, United will make the following changes to its
international flight schedule:

Reinstate service between Chicago O’Hare and Hong Kong International
Airport with four flights per week.

Increase service between Chicago O’Hare and Beijing Airport to three flights a week, up from two in July.

Begin offering daily flights between San Francisco International Airport and
Hong Kong International Airport, up from three flights a week in July.

Begin offering daily flights between San Francisco International Airport and
Shanghai Airport, up from five flights a week in July.
