The Balé, a Sanctuary Resort in Nusa Dua - Bali and member of the Small
Luxury Hotels of the World is boosting its appeal to travelers with the opening of
its new Sanctuary Spa.
As part of Sanctuary Resorts' philosophy, the Sanctuary Spa provides a wide
selection of treatments in well-designed treatment rooms complimented with
sauna, whirlpools, steamers and set in beautifully appointed gardens with
ample water features.
The spa at The Balé has gone through a complete face-lift in line with the
accentuated design of the resort, which emphasizes the water flowing through the resort and accentuate clean lines with blonde
yogyastone.
Influenced by the healing rituals of the Balinese culture, the Sanctuary Spa
provides a true and natural range of massage, body and facial treatments
using natural products. Complementing these treatments, the Sanctuary Spa
also introduces Healing Hot Stone massage, using specially selected volcanic
stones used to heal the body through their mineral contact while creating a
state of complete relaxation.
"The treatments available at the Sanctuary Spa have been created in line with
Sanctuary Resorts' philosophy of balancing body, mind and spirit. In order to
reach that balance, we are also offer more holistic treatments like meditation,
yoga and other treatments that offer both physical and mental benefits" says
Jose Luis Calle, General Manager of The Balé.
The signature treatment at The Balé, the Sanctuary Rejuvenation Ritual
provides a unique experience with full body Balinese massage techniques,
combined with acupressure using natural marine oil.
The spa will gradually implement new treatments while developing The
Sanctuary Resorts' "Masters in Residence' programs where well-known Masters in local or regional exercise programs (i.e. Tai Chi, Shiatsu, etc..) will
be invited to the property for periods of time to provide lectures and consultation to guests on a variety of lifestyle topics.
These programs will start with Daniel Reid, best selling author of "The Tao of
Detox", "The complete book of Chinese Health and Healing" and many more
in November 2003. Daniel is a leading authority on traditional Chinese Health
& healing practices.
