Cathay Pacific Airways this morning announced that, due to the anticipated
arrival of Typhoon Dujuan, the airline will suspend the arrival and departure of
all flights in and out of Hong Kong at 5pm local time (HK).
Pending any sharp deterioration in weather conditions, all flights scheduled to
arrive or depart before that time are expected to operate normally.
Cathay stated that this suspension of services may remain in force until late morning on Wednesday,
3 September 2003.
The airline’s in-town check-in at Hong Kong and Kowloon stations, as well as
its online, kiosk and telephone check-in services have been suspended until
further notice.
Passengers are advised to call the following numbers to check the status of
arriving and departing flights, or check the arrival and departure information
posted on the airline’s website. |
