W Hotels appoints Rosmalia D. Hardman as Director of Marketing of W Seoul Walkerhill

W Hotels has appointed Rosmalia D. Hardman as the Director Marketing of W Seoul Walkerhill, scheduled to open Spring 2004.

As the Director of Marketing, Hardman is in charge of developing, executing, and managing the marketing and sales operation of W Seoul Walkerhill, the first W hotel in Asia and the second in Asia Pacific following the W Sydney. 

Hardman said, “I am very excited to join W Seoul Walkerhill, the first W property in Asia. W Hotels have a reputation for modern, stylish interiors that is combined with a sophisticated service. This combination is already inspiring trend setters as well as the world’s hotel and travel service industry. I am confident that W Seoul will bring fresh surprises to those who seek a unique.” 

Hardman has served in the hospitality and service industry for more than twenty-six years. Her passion and expertise lie in marketing, brand position, communications, sales and management. Prior to coming to Korea, she has been with The Fullerton Singapore as the Director of Brand Marketing and Communications. Hardman also held key management positions, including General Manager of Rosenbluth International; Director of Operations for Pan Pacific Sutera Hotel; Director of Marketing for Mandarin Oriental Jakarta; Gran Melia Jakarta and The Ascott Jakarta.

Hardman is a professional speaker and workshop leader for business seminars and conferences in the Asia Pacific region on the topic of marketing and brands. She is a founding member and board member of Marketing Council Asia (MCAsia), and has served as the membership Chairperson of the American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA), Singapore Chapter.

W Seoul Walkerhill has a depth of cutting edge international architects and interior designers currently working on the property development, creating unique structures and spaces. These include Studio Gaia of New York and Aaron Tan of RAD, Hong Kong.
