Due to a long waiting list of potential exhibitors, organisers Dubai World Trade Centre
have announced that Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum Hall will also be utilised for GITEX 2003 making it a central location for exhibitors to
network.
"One of the unique features of the Sheikh Rashid Hall is its versatility, the hall
measures 7,760 square metres and is divisible by operable walls and its flexibility enables it to be used in various configurations for multifarious
purposes including as an exhibition venue," said DWTC Director General, Mubarak bin
Fahad.
He noted that the Sheikh Rashid Hall has been designed to offer maximum
flexibility and an ideal environment that can accommodate a range of options,
from sporting events, to operas and from theatrical productions to plenary
sessions. "Whatever the function, the Sheikh Hall can be configured to create
the perfect ambience to achieve the unique goals of planners," Mr. bin Fahad
remarked.
The Sheikh Rashid Hall features operable soundproof walls and flexible
seating that enables organisers to define styles to suit their needs. Whether an
event requires a centre stage and tiered seating for 6,000, or an "in-the-round"
option that places the focus in the centre of the floor with seating encircling it.
GITEX 2003 will feature all facets of the Information Technology industry. With
