SriLankan Airlines Singapore has achieved the best performance in its
history of operation in 2002/2003. The airline attained its highest ever
revenue of S$10.53 million compared to S$6.96 million in 2001/2002, marking
a 51% increase in revenue over the previous year. The results over surpassed the original projected revenue of S$8.2 million by
S$2 million.
The Singapore branch also achieved an 11% increase in passenger carriage
numbers in 2002/2003. The airline carried a total number of 14255 passengers from April 2002 to March 2003, as compared to 12809
passengers over the same period last year. SriLankan Airlines
established its Singapore operations in 1979.
