Shangri-La Hotel, Dubai offers Special 'Ramadan' Rates

Shangri-La Hotel, Dubai is offering special rates for the holy month of Ramadan starting from Dhs500++ for one night's accommodation in a luxuriously appointed deluxe room.

Located in an impressive 200 metre, 43 storey tower complex and a mere 15 minutes from Dubai International Airport, the hotel features 301 spacious rooms and suites all beautifully appointed in warm, earthy tones with modern conveniences.

Guests are spoilt for choice with nine distinctive restaurants and bars with everything from an International Cafe and Vietnamese cuisine to authentic Cantonese, and Moroccan. The Health & Recreation facilities occupy the entire 4th floor featuring the Chi spa, squash and tennis courts, fully equipped fitness centre and swimming pool.

During Ramadan the hotel's culinary team has created a variety of dining activities to celebrate the breaking of the fast each evening.

Guests can choose between elegant poolside tents with majlis seating known as "Lialli Ramadan" which offer delicious Arabic dishes, Shisha (traditional water pipe), and light entertainment or visit the Marrakech Restaurant which will be themed as a Moroccan night market serving a sumptuous Iftar Buffet from sunset each evening until 8pm, followed by the á la carte menu which will be offered until late.

Dunes Café (offering a buffet of international favourites and an á la carte menu), Shang Palace (with its authentic Cantonese classics) and Hoi An, Vietnamese restaurant, will be operating each evening during Ramadan.

Guests staying at the hotel are well catered for with a special room service menu for "Sehour". The Sehour Menu is complemented by a range of specialty juices including Jalab and Tamar Hindi (dates) and Kamar el Dine (apricots).
