The Concorde Group, one of Australia’s leading travel companies, has
appointed Frank Gatta as Manager, South Australia, succeeding Pasquale de
Matteis, who retired recently after 47 years in the travel industry.
Mr Gatta was most recently Business Development Executive for
Travelworld based in Adelaide.

He brings to Concorde 30 years experience in the Australian travel industry,
including extensive sales and marketing background with companies including Thomas Cook, Metro Travel, Jetset, Flight Centre and Harvey
World Travel.
He served in a variety of roles and expanded the retail presence and sales
performance in South Australia of several major travel groups.
Concorde Group CEO Mr Peter Lacaze said Mr Gatta would commence on 10
November in Adelaide, and would be responsible for Concorde Air Tickets
- the company’s airline ticket wholesaling division - in South Australia.
“We are delighted that Frank Gatta is joining our team, and look forward to
him leading us forward in South Australia,” said Mr Lacaze.
“Not only is his industry knowledge a benefit to our group – so too is the fact
that Frank is from South Australia, and that he knows and is well-known in
