Le Méridien Cyberport, the
future flagship hotel in Hong Kong for the
international luxury Le Meridien hotel group, has just completed their strategic Brand Positioning. Dean Schreiber, the hotel's General Manager
said: "From the beginning we had a unique hotel with its location and state-of-the-art technology features. We wanted to be sure that we focused
our staff to deliver the same contemporary benefits that are inherent in the
physical facility of the hotel property."
The hotel management worked with the Ricebay group, a Hong Kong
Brand Management company, to fine-tune the benefits that today's modern travelers value, developing these benefits as the heart of the product offer,
and creating a distinct Brand Positioning which focuses on unrivaled customer experience and convenience to enhance the hotel's competitive
advantage. "Focusing the product helps in staff training, consistent service delivery, and succinct clarity in communicating with our partners
and our customers," said Schreiber.
Le Méridien Cyberport will open in December
2003 as Hong Kong's only Southside five-star hotel. Located only fifteen minutes from the "Central"
business and shopping district it is hoped the property will become the ultimate choice of
many traveling on business who want to escape to a more relaxing destination.
"We will have an excitingly different Hotel here at the Le Méridien
Cyberport. Our aim is to focus on the customer with a much more contemporary experience than is found in Hong Kong's traditional hotel
