The Layan Phuket to be managed by Aprime Hotels & Resorts

Travel News Asia 26 May 2003

Aprime Hotels & Resorts has signed a management agreement with Layan Phuket Co., Ltd., to operate the Layan Resort in Phuket. From June 1, 2003, The Layan will officially change its name to 'Layan Beach Phuket Aprime Resort'.

The Layan is a small but elegant resort and spa located in a private and secluded beach in Thailand, on the northwestern coast of Phuket. More like a retreat where guests go to find a balance of body, mind and spirit The resort has 12 deluxe sea-view rooms and 40 superior rooms featuring private balconies with Andaman sea views from every room, all hidden among well landscaped tropical garden.

"We like the Aprime attitude and concept of running business,'' Mr. Pakin says. "It combines Thai hospitality with the international principle of management and marketing."

"Before making a decision, we had actually considered other international hotel management companies,'' he reveals, "but with Aprime's dynamic management style and unique understanding of Thai culture, we are convinced that the Layan is in the right hands.''

Surrounded by lush greenery with its own secluded white, sandy beach, the Layan Beach Phuket Aprime Resort has a spa providing a whole range of health and beauty treatments-reflexology and aromatherapy body massage, cellulite-reducing and toning treatment, facial treatment for both men and women, and various packages to resuscitate and revitalize tired body, mind and spirit, to name just a few.

Backed by 29 years of international experience in the management and marketing of hotels, Mr. Danai established Aprime Hotels & Resorts two years ago and thereafter signed a 15-year contract to manage the internationally known Rose Garden. Eighteen months later, in January of this year he signed another contract to manage the Phulay Beach Krabi Aprime Resort.
