Gulf
Air has announced that it is to resume normal operations to Kuwait from Bahrain, Abu Dhabi
and Dubai, with effect from 30 March 2003, when its summer schedule is introduced.
Following the commencement of hostilities in Iraq, and subject to continual
review, a temporary schedule was implemented on Sunday, 23 March allowing for a once-daily service from Bahrain in line with Gulf Air’s usual
morning schedule.
“Our crisis management team has been monitoring the situation around the
clock, and based on advice from local airport and civil aviation authorities,
and with assurances that our passengers will be safe, we believe it is appropriate to implement our normal schedule again,” said Captain Hameed
Ali, Vice President of Operations at Gulf Air. |
