Continental Airlines
is improving service for transatlantic travelers by expanding destinations served in Europe and Africa through codesharing
with the Dutch carrier KLM.
Effective September 6 (pending government approval), Continental codeshare
service will be available on a connecting basis, via Amsterdam, to:
Almaty, Kazakhstan
Budapest, Hungary
Casablanca, Morocco
Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
Douala, Cameroon
Istanbul, Turkey
Kilimanjaro, Tanzania
Malabo, Equatorial Guinea
Prague, Czech Republic
Trondheim, Norway
The addition of these 10 cities gives Continental's customers access to a total
of 69 KLM destinations; 16 destinations in Africa and the Middle East and 53
destinations in Europe.
At the same time, KLM is increasing its coverage in the U.S. by adding
codeshare service to more Continental destinations, for a total of 68 U.S.
airports. |
