Thai Airways International Public Company Limited has announced changes
to its Summer Schedule in order to cater for the rising demand of passengers starting 31 March 2003.
Mr. Kanok Abhiradee, THAI’s President, stated that THAI plans to make
changes to its Summer Schedule 2003 to support the government’s policy in
boosting Thailand’s tourism industry. Adjustments and additional flights to
the Summer Schedule, starting 31 March 2003, are as follows:
Adjusted European Routes and Frequencies
Bangkok – Zurich – Geneva v.v. 3 flights per week, every Tuesday, Thursday
and Sunday, utilizing Boeing 747-400 aircraft.
Bangkok – Athens v.v. 3 flights per week, every Monday, Thursday and
Saturday, utilizing Boeing 777-300 aircraft.
Bangkok – Zurich v.v. 4 flights per week, every Monday, Wednesday, Friday
and Saturday, utilizing MD 11 aircraft.
Additional Domestic Frequencies
Bangkok – Krabi v.v. Increased to 21 flights per week from 18 flights.
Chiang Mai – Mae Hong Son v.v. Increased to 5 flights daily from 3 flights,
totaling 35 flights per week, utilizing ATR 72 and Boeing 737-400 aircraft
(during 30 March – 31 August 2003).
Flights to other destinations served by THAI remain unchanged. |
