The Fullerton Singapore voted Best New Business Hotel in Asia Pacific and in the World

Frequent business travellers across the Asia-Pacific have voted The Fullerton Singapore, for the second year running, as the Best New Business Hotel in Asia-Pacific in the Business Traveller Asia Pacific Awards 2003.

The Fullerton Singapore was also recently voted the Best New Business Hotel in the World in the 2003 Business Traveller UK reader survey.

"We are very pleased that business travellers, not only in the Asia Pacific region but also in United Kingdom and Europe have chosen The Fullerton Singapore as the Best New Business Hotel. These two awards are testament to the high service level standards and facilities that is evident in our hotel. We would like to show our appreciation to the business traveller and will strive to maintain and further enhance our service standards to not only meet but also exceed their expectations," said Mr Gerhard Kropp, General Manager of The Fullerton Singapore.

Both the Asia Pacific and the World awards are the result of an annual readership poll conducted by Business Traveller Asia Pacific (BTAP) and Business Traveller UK (BTUK) respectively, which receives returns from subscribers from the Indian Subcontinent through to the Oceania region as well as the UK and Europe. The Fullerton Singapore took the top spots in the Best New Business Hotel in both the Asia-Pacific and the World categories.

For these two award categories, BTAP and BTUK readers were asked to nominate new hotels opened in the last three years based on criteria such as location, quality of service, quality of rooms, amenities and facilities.

Mr Ivan Lee, Chief Executive Officer of The Fullerton Singapore received the prestigious award from former president of Philippines, Fidel Ramos, who was the guest-of-honour, at the annual Business Traveller Asia Pacific Awards Luncheon held in Hong Kong on 19 September 2003.

Mr Lee will also be attending the BTUK Awards Luncheon held in London on 23 September 2003 and will be receiving the Best New Business Hotel in the World award from guest-of-honour, Her Royal Highness Princess Alexandra.
