Hertz Australia announces new Senior Management appointments

Hertz Australia announced today three new senior management appointments, all with national responsibility.

Wayne Burgoyne has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing, bringing to the role significant travel industry and fleet management experience.

Wayne was previously General Manager and Director of Hertz Lease Limited, National Sales and Marketing Manager for GE Capital Fleet Services and National Sales Manager for Hertz Australia.

Prior to his vehicle rental and lease roles, Wayne held a series of sales and marketing positions at Qantas and the former domestic carrier Australian Airlines in Australia, the USA and Papua New Guinea.

Matthew Harrison has been appointed National Marketing Manager for Hertz Australia, with responsibility for the company's brand strategy development and implementation.

Matthew previously held marketing roles with Voyages Hotels and Resorts in Sydney, Myriad Travel Marketing in Los Angeles and the Australian Tourist Commission in Los Angeles and New York.

Andrew Kostopoulos has been appointed to the newly-created role of Pricing and Yield Manager for Hertz Australia, responsible for maximising the company's revenue through strategic pricing.

Andrew joined Hertz in 1998, and for the past three years has been Manager of the Hertz Business Centre in Melbourne, responsible for servicing the Small to Medium Enterprise market.

The three roles are based at the Melbourne head office of Hertz Australia, and will take effect immediately.
