Dragonair has been appointed official carrier for the 31st Hong Kong
Association of Travel Agents (HATA) Convention which takes place November
1-3, 2003 in Bangkok.
This is the third time Dragonair has sponsored the Convention which this year
coincides with the launch of the airline's inaugural service between Hong
Kong and Bangkok.
"We are delighted to be involved with the HATA Convention again in our role
as official carrier, particularly since the event is taking place in the newest
addition to our network, Bangkok" said Stanley Hui, Dragonair's Chief Executive Officer.
"With our new twice daily service between Hong Kong and Bangkok we are
able to offer a convenient service to delegates, and we look forward to welcoming the delegation from HATA on board our inaugural flight on
November 1."
Dragonair has twice previously acted as official carrier to the HATA
Convention: it was appointed for the 30th Convention held last year in Beijing,
and the 29th which was held in 2001 in Shanghai.
HATA officials expect a record turnout of 140-160 delegates at this year's
Convention, including strong participation by the Thai travel industry. |
