Thai Airways International increases flight schedules

Thai Airways International is to increase its Summer Program, due to increased passenger demand on certain routes. THAI will increase flights on routes to America, Europe, Middle East, and Asia, effective 1 July 2003 onwards.

America Routes

Flights routed Bangkok-Los Angeles v.v. will resume operations at 7 flights per week, this service was previously reduced to 3 flights per week.

Europe Routes

- Flights routed Bangkok-Paris v.v. will resume operations at 10 flights per week, this service was previously reduced to 7 flights per week.

- Flights routed Bangkok-Rome v.v. will resume operations at 7 flights per week, this service was previously reduced to 5 flights per week.

- Flights routed Bangkok-Frankfurt v.v. will resume operations at 11 flights per week, this service was previously reduced to 10 flights per week.

Middle East Routes

Flights routed Bangkok-Abu Dhabi-Bahrain-Bangkok will resume operations at 3 flights per week, this service was previously temporarily suspended.

In addition, as of 1 June 2003 onwards, flights routed Bangkok-Dubai-Kuwait v.v. resumed regular flight operations of 3 flights per week, this service was previously temporarily suspended. Furthermore, flights routed Bangkok-Dubai v.v. resumed flight operations of 7 flights per week, this service was previously reduced to 4 flights per week.

THAI has also adjusted its flight schedule on the route Bangkok-Singapore and Singapore-Bangkok for regular departures from Bangkok and Singapore, effective 15 June 2003 onwards. Adjusted flights include: TG 401 departing from Bangkok at 19.15 hours and arriving in  Singapore at 22.35 hours, TG 402 departing from Singapore at 08.20 hours and arriving in Bangkok at 09.40 hours, with the aircraft parked overnight in Singapore as normally scheduled after having conducted quick-turn flights during the SARS crisis in Singapore. As the World Health Organization (WHO) has announced that Singapore is free of SARS and it is summer school break in Singapore, there is an increase in passenger demand and THAI has adjusted its flight schedule based on passenger need.
