Thai Airways International, as one of the main sponsors for the Panda
Research and Exhibition Project in Thailand, together with the Zoological
Park Organization, has announced details of the "Love Panda, Love Chiang
Mai" campaign, which aims to promote tourism in Chiang Mai from 1 December
2003 to 29 February 2004.

THAI's President, said the "Love Panda, Love Chiang Mai" campaign aims to encourage tourists to travel to Chiang Mai in order to
visit the two pandas, Chuang Chuang and Lin Hui, the Friendship Ambassadors between China and Thailand, delivered to Chiang Mai Zoo by
THAI in October. The campaign includes promotional tour packages to Chiang
Mai: "Thai Youth Loves
Panda" promotion A special one-day Euarng Luang package tour to Chiang Mai and visit to
Chiang Mai Zoo departing from Bangkok, for children traveling in groups, as
follows: - Children under 12 years, 1,500 baht per person - Children between 12-18, 2,500 baht per person - Accompanying parent, 3,500 baht per person (limit to 1 parent per children) For this package, children must travel in groups of more than 10 persons on
a specified flight between Monday and Thursday. Prices include transportation from Chiang Mai International Airport and Chiang Mai Zoo and
lunch. For groups of more than 15 persons, a free package for one teacher
will be included. |
