The Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM), launched the
2003/4 edition of Dubai Business Handbook an exhaustive trade manual for
the trade and business professionals at the department's Head Office
today. The department has printed 20,000 copies, which are available at the Head Office.
DTCM Director Operations and Marketing, Mohamed Khamis bin Hareb said
that the Dubai Business Handbook is the DTCM's premium publication for the international trade. "It provides extensive information about the emirate's
business facilities and services and offers all the information an international
investors need to know about the emirate's business and trade sector."
The 2003 edition has been produced on glossy art paper with perfect
binding and sports a new look with a change in layout and design.
DTCM Deputy Manager Media and Advertising, Ahmed Al Tunaiji said that
the Dubai Business Guide covers all essential data on business, trade and
also tourism in the emirate, including information on setting up business in
Dubai, opportunities for international investors and services and facilities
they can avail in the emirate. "It also contains up-to-date information and
latest developments of the emirate's MICE and business sector and tells how the facilities of the Dubai compete with the latest technology and the
international standards. There is a comprehensive list of rules and regulations adopted in the emirate for conducting business. Besides, the
book contains information on airlines, visa regulations, properties, sports
facilities, shopping, dining, entertainment and hotels," detailed Mr. Al
Tunaiji.
In addition, there is a section which details important aspects of travel to
Dubai including information on the region's history, culture, population, visa
and customs regulations, health requirements, education, climate, clothing
and lifestyle.
The tourism directory of this manual has been updated and provides a list of
essential services with phone, fax and P.O. Box numbers. |
