Cyprus Airways, which begins its twice-weekly, non-stop Dubai-Colombo
service on Wednesday, November 19, has launched an introductory fare for
its first service to an Indian Sub-continent destination.
Until April 30 next year, the economy return Dubai-Colombo fare will be
Dhs 1,150 - one of the most competitive in the market.
“This is in line with our policy of providing the best possible service to
passengers at affordable prices,” said C.K. Hussain, Gulf Sales Manager,
Cyprus Airways.
The Cypriot national flag carrier will be flying to Colombo, operating from
Dubai, every Wednesday and Saturday with an Airbus A320 aircraft.
Flight CY 396 will depart Dubai International Airport at 01.15 every
Wednesday, arriving in the Sri Lanka capital at 07.45 local time. On Saturdays, flight CY 396 will depart Dubai at 13.15 and arrive Bandaranaike
International at 19.45 local time.
The flights will originate in Larnaca and stop in Dubai on both legs of the
journey, which means Cyprus Airways will now operate four return Dubai-Larnaca flights a week, instead of the current two. |
