Maximilian Pleyer new Resident Manager Dusit Thani Hotel, Bangkok

The Dusit Thani Hotel, Bangkok has appointed Mr. Maximilian Pleyer as its new Resident Manager.

Orginally hailing from Austria Mr. Pleyer has more than 15 years experience in hotel management, being attached to several leading International Hotels & Chains such as The Conrad, Hong Kong, The Delta Grand Pacific Hotel, Bangkok, Renaissance, Japan, Hilton International in Malaysia and Taiwan and The Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur. He was also serving as Regional Director of Food and Beverage for Hilton International, North Asia.

Most recently Mr. Pleyer was the Executive Assistant Manager of The Westin Hotel Taipei, Taiwan R.O.C. His main responsibilities will be the running of the day to day hotel operations, introducing new ideas and concepts as well as improving the well known high standards of The Dusit Thani, Bangkok. He will also be strongly involved in the planning and execution of the ongoing major renovations to upgrade the hotel facilities including all guestrooms and suites, public areas, all banqueting and meeting facilities, restaurants and bars, health club and business centre.
