The Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) announced that Motivate
Publishing has been commissioned to produce a coffee table book about the Dubai International Convention Centre (DICC) that will serve as a
promotional tool and a souvenir for the brand new state-of-the-art conference, exhibition and meetings facility.
"With the DICC positioned as the premier venue for meetings, incentives,
conferences and exhibitions (MICE) in the region, it is set to play a central
role in providing momentum to Dubai's position as an emerging destination for the MICE industry thereby creating a need for quality
collateral and brochures to promote the venue," said DWTC Director General, Mubarak bin Fahad after signing the contract with Motivate
Publishing's Managing Partner and Group Editor, Ian Fairservice in Dubai
yesterday.
Mr. bin Fahad noted that the DICC combines superior design with
functionality to meet the needs of the most discerning meeting planners and facilitate business and the book will focus on this and other salient
features of the DICC.
Mr. Fairservice remarked that Motivate Publishing were delighted to
strengthen their long-standing relationship with the DWTC even further with the signing of this deal and committed to produce a quality coffee
table book for the venue.
"The new DICC is remarkable in both its design and functionality and will
add significantly to Dubai's world class business and leisure facilities.
Through these books, readers will be able to see what the DICC has to offer thereby acting as a valuable marketing tool to attract the leading
conferences and exhibitions from the region and worldwide," said Mr.
Fairservice.
He added that the DICC coffee table book would provide quality editorial
and pictures and offer sponsors a unique opportunity to leverage their companies, as the publication will be distributed to a high profile target
audience of international meeting planners worldwide by the DWTC. In addition, 20,000 copies of the book in soft back edition will be distributed
along with the December issue of Gulf Business. |
