Dragonair has announced it will resume flights to Kota Kinabalu. From May
27 onwards, services will operate three times a week, on Tuesdays, Fridays
and Sundays.
"We are very pleased to be able to resume services to this wonderful holiday
destination in time for the summer season," said Dragonair's General Manager Marketing & Sales, Andy Tung. "It's the perfect place to relax and
get away from it all, so we believe it will prove popular both with travellers
from Hong Kong and with holiday makers coming here and looking for a second regional destination to visit."
He added: "The SARS outbreak has meant many people have stayed at
home, but with the disease showing signs of being contained in Hong Kong,
there's a lot of pent-up demand for travel and Kota Kinabalu is an ideal
destination."
Dragonair A320s will operate on the route according to the following
schedule:
DAYS
FLIGHT FROM DEP ARR
Tues, Fri, Sun KA061 Hong Kong 08:05 11:00
Tues, Fri, Sun KA060 Kota Kinabalu 12:00 14:55
