The E-Access system to be introduced by the Dubai World Trade Centre
(DWTC) at GITEX 2003 from 19th to 23rd October is currently undergoing a trial
run to ensure that the service runs smoothly and eases queues and relieves
bottlenecks at the venue.
"The E-Access system has been designed to better serve exhibitors and
visitors to the exhibitions and enable swift and easy access to exhibitions as
well as reduce queues," said DWTC General Manager Exhibitions, Leasing and Property, Abdulla T.
Qassem.
E-Access provides complete integrated platform tools for events database
management and helps in creating and customizing databases, enables import and control of unstructured data, management of badge printing and is
altogether secure, networked and reliable.
E-Access can also be rented out to other interested exhibition organisers and
will lend itself to sponsorship opportunities including sponsorship of all
badges. The new system will also enable easy storage and retrieval of information through one centralised server.
E-Access is expected to be a real value added service for exhibition
organisers and visitors because it will be suitable for any event and it will be
fast, multilingual, Windows compatible and allow pre and on site registration. |
