Reed Exhibitions,
a leading organiser of trade and consumer
events, has announced the appointment of Ed Ng as President of Reed Exhibitions, Singapore (Reed). Mr. Ng is concurrently appointed as
President of Asian Aerospace Pte Ltd, a joint-venture company between Reed Exhibitions Pte Ltd and Singapore Technologies Aerospace Ltd.
The appointment is effective 2 January 2003. In his role as President of Reed
Exhibitions, Singapore, he will provide strategic direction to ensure continued growth and profitability of the Singapore business. Mr. Ng will
report to Paul Beh, President and Chief Executive Officer of Reed Exhibitions
Asia Pacific South.
"Mr. Ng has established a proven track record of improving the size, scope
and profitability of operating units under his leadership," said Paul Beh. "We
are confident that Mr. Ng's strategic expertise will be an asset to Reed
Exhibitions Singapore, as the company continues to grow as the leading organiser of trade and consumer events."
Prior to joining Reed, Mr. Ng had been the Executive Vice President
(Corporate) of CapitaLand Ltd, a Singapore-listed property group with operations and assets in more than 50 cities and 20 countries. He also served
as concurrent CEO of CapitaLand Commercial Pte Ltd and CapitaLand Fund Management Pte Ltd. Before joining CapitaLand, Mr. Ng was with General
Electric Company, where he was last appointed as President and Country Manager of GE Capital Philippines and Singapore.

Mr. Ng holds a Bachelor of Science (1st Class Honours) degree from
University of Manchester, Institute of Science and Technology, and an MBA
from Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration. |
