China Southern Airlines is reporting its very best month of cargo lift from
Europe to China with nearly 1 million kilos moved.
China Southern Airlines moved
a total of 983,000 kgs which is the largest total ever for China
Southern on the routes from Europe to China - “and is indicative of the growth of cargo, not only from China to Europe but from
Europe to China,” said Mr. Zhang Zhifeng, General Manager, Cargo Department.
China Southern Airlines currently operates
a Boeing 747 service on a code-share basis with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines
four times weekly between Shanghai, Pudong Airport in China and Amsterdam,
and twice weekly from Liege, Belgium to China.
The new joint China Southern/KLM 747 cargo service started in
mid October 2003. |
