Thai Airways International
is to add special flights and change to larger aircraft types on flight operations to Chiang Mai, Phuket, Krabi and Had Yai, in order to
cater for the expected increased demand of passengers during the APEC period.
Mr. Kanok Abhiradee, THAI’s President, said that this is in response to the Thai
Government’s announcement of the closure between 17-24 October 2003 of
Government and state enterprise offices located in and close to Bangkok during the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit which Thailand
is hosting for 2003.
Changes
made are as follows:
Bangkok – Chiang Mai v.v.
- Add three flights on 17, 19 and 24 October 2003
- Change to larger aircraft type on two flights on 18 and 19 October 2003
Bangkok – Krabi v.v.
- Add five flights on 17, 18, 19, 20 and 23 October 2003
Bangkok – Phuket v.v.
- Add one flight on 23 October 2003
- Changer to larger aircraft type on seven flights on 17, 18, 20, 23 and 25 October 2003
Bangkok – Had
Yai v.v.
- Change to larger aircraft type on four flights on 17, 18, 23 and 25 October 2003 |
