Travellers looking for some extra thrill while in Paris can now look forward to
Holiday Inn’s first themed European property, which would be opening at
Disneyland¨ Resort Paris this June, with a promise to bring the excitement of
the circus to life.
Drawing on the longstanding influence of the circus on European
entertainment, the hotel’s theme was chosen for its universal appeal to both
children and adults. The theme will feature throughout the Holiday Inn at
Disneyland¨ Resort Paris hotel, from striking centrepieces in the hotel’s
reception and bar areas to décor detail within the bedrooms.
On entering the hotel’s reception, guests will step into the magic of the
circus ring with three life-sized statues of prancing horses adding an air of
performance to the arena. The bar and lounge area will play host to the
breathtaking art of the trapeze with a spectacular computer generated show.
Animated characters will be projected onto a double height ceiling, inspired
by a circus big top, ‘performing’ exclusively for guests every evening.
Holiday Inn at Disneyland¨ Resort Paris will feature 396 bedrooms with
family accommodation including a dedicated kid’s corner with bunk bed,
television and video games. All rooms will reflect a modern take on the circus theme featuring contemporary artwork within adult areas of the room
while a bold golden and red striped curtain, appearing as a circus tent, will
separate the children’s area. There will be 325 family bedrooms with 160
interconnected rooms, as well as 23 KidSuites™.
“The hotel’s circus concept encapsulates the fun and liveliness of the
Disneyland¨ Resort Paris while complementing the Paris parks’ existing
themes,” said Simon Stringer, brand director of Holiday Inn Europe, Middle
East and Africa, Six Continents Hotels says.
“The aim is to enhance guests’ experience with an interesting and family
friendly theme, matched with the high level of service expected of Holiday
Inn – one of the world’s renowned brands.”
Located just 10 minutes from the Disney parks by free shuttle bus, Holiday
Inn at Disneyland Resort Paris will also provide guests with a fitness
centre, indoor swimming pool, children's paddling pool and extensive outside
terrace. Set in a 10-acre park complete with lake, the hotel’s exterior will
follow the theme of a French Manoir. |
