Amadeus API (Application Programme Interface) is one, of a portfolio of
Amadeus online travel booking solutions. It allows customers to develop their
own Internet Booking Engine and link it to the Amadeus system. Acting like a
two-way translation system, it allows applications written in modern programming languages and using XML to communicate seamlessly with the
Amadeus global travel reservations system, via a TCP/IP connection. An alternative solution is Planitgo, which provides customised web reservation
pages, and a multilingual Internet Booking Engine hosted by Amadeus e-Travel, directly connected to the Amadeus GDS. |
