Dragonair has announced it will temporarily suspend flights to Kota
Kinabalu with effect from April 13.
The move follows the announcement of the introduction of visa
requirements for holders of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and British National Overseas passports visiting Malaysia, which is expected to
lead to a further decline in an already weak booking situation for flights as a
result of the outbreak of severe acute respiratory syndrome.
Dragonairs'
services had been operating on the route every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.
Dragonair
said that for the same reasons it will also temporarily suspend bookings
on its joint-venture services with Malaysian Airlines to Kota Kinabalu and
Kuching. |
