JAL to increase flights to Hong Kong, Honolulu, Los Angeles, Zurich, Bangkok

Travel News Asia 10 June 2003

Japan Airlines today announced further adjustments to its international passenger flight schedule during the first half of FY2003, following earlier changes announced in March, April and May.

The latest changes cover the period July through August and include restoration of some flights and routes, the extension of frequency reduction on some routes, route consolidations, continuation of temporary route suspensions and adjustments to code share flights with other airlines.

The airline said that the changes reflect the changes in passenger demand following the Iraq war and the outbreak of SARS and are based on the planned 2003 summer schedule announced in January.
