Leonardo,
a provider of rich media travel content management, channel distribution and e-marketing for the travel industry,
and Amadeus, a leading global distribution system (GDS) and travel industry technology provider, announced today that they have signed an
agreement to provide access to industry leading digital hotel multimedia
content and images through Amadeus.
Through this agreement, Leonardo will provide Amadeus with a rich content
solution for hotel multimedia pictures, logos, text, maps and graphics, to be
visible on Amadeus, via a direct connection powered by Leonardo's hotel multimedia platform. In the first phase, Amadeus is focusing on displaying
images for its most frequently booked hotels.

dramatically increase hotel bookings through web based channels. Together with Leonardo we are enabling hotel companies to grow their
businesses, while delivering travel agencies and online travel portals an
industry-leading tool which makes booking hotels easier than ever before",

Hotel properties and chains will use the Amadeus Content Gateway, a
customised and password protected web site provided by Leonardo, which allows them to load and manage their images and accompanying
multi-lingual captions.
