Amadeus opens Hong Kong office

Amadeus, officially opened its new office in Hong Kong yesterday, which was attended by key local and international travel agents, airlines, and industry leaders.

David Brett, President, Amadeus Asia Pacific, said, "We are pleased to have received such strong support from the travel industry in the territory. Hong Kong is an important market in the region, and a key component of our strategy to develop an integrated Greater China offering for both agents and airlines."

Amadeus Hong Kong Ltd. joins seven fully integrated Amadeus offices currently serving Greater China, including Beijing, Guangzhou, and Shanghai in China, as well as Kaohsiung, Taichung, Taipei, and Taoyuan in Taiwan. Established in August 2003, Amadeus Hong Kong Ltd. is Amadeus Global Travel Distribution's new wholly owned National Marketing Company for Hong Kong and Macau.
