Qatar Airways will resume flights to Murtala
Muhammed International Airport (LOS) in Lagos, Nigeria on 10
September 2020.
The airline will operate the route with four
flights per week using Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft featuring 22
seats in Business Class and 232 seats in Economy Class.
The Lagos flights are scheduled for every
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Flight QR1407 is timed to
depart Doha (DOH) at 00:01 and arrive in Nigeria
(LOS) at 07:00. The return flight, QR1408, is scheduled to leave Nigeria (LOS)
at 20:00 and land back in
Doha (DOH) 06:45 the following day.
With the addition of Lagos, Qatar Airways’ network
in Africa will expand to ten destinations with 44 weekly flights
to the continent including Addis Ababa, Dar es Salaam, Djibouti,
Kigali, Kilimanjaro, Mogadishu, Nairobi, Tunis and Zanzibar.
Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive,
Mr.
Akbar Al Baker, said,

helping us to reunite family and friends with their loved ones ... With 44 weekly flights to 10 destinations across Africa and
plans for further resumptions in line with the easing of entry
restrictions, we are committed to supporting the recovery of
international tourism across the continent while also maintaining
vital supply chains to support African businesses.”
Economy Class passengers onboard Qatar Airways are
required to follow the required COVID19 safety measures and wear a
face mask and shield whilst on the aircraft.
