Marc Bittner Appointed GM of Maia Resort Quy Nhon in Vietnam

Fusion Hotel Group has appointed Marc Bittner as General Manager of the Maia Resort Quy Nhon on Vietnam’s central coast.

Having worked in hospitality for 13 years, eight of which have been spent in South East Asia, Marc has gained significant experience on an international level.

Marc was most recently based in Indonesia with Aman Hotels and Resorts. He started with Aman as Director of Food and Beverages at Amanjiwo, going on to become General Manager overseeing operational activities for three of Aman’s establishments, namely Amanwana, Amanikana, and Amandira.

Marc started his career in hospitality in Canada, working at Fairmont Hotels and Resorts in 2007. From there he went on to hold roles at The Yachts of Seabourn and The World of Residensea in the USA, and in 2012, he made the move to Asia, working in Maldives, Thailand, Indonesia, and now Vietnam.

“With Marc’s particular background in both managing 5-star hotel resorts, coupled with his extensive knowledge of food and beverage field, we feel we could not have asked for a better person to take the helm at Maia Resort Quy Nhon,” said Samir Wildemann, Fusion’s vice president of operations. “The whole concept of Maia Resort is to provide immersive, exclusive and memorable culinary experiences, and with Marc’s background, we know that this will be in safe hands.”
