Qatar Airways to Launch Flights to San Francisco on 15 December

Qatar Airways will launch flights between Doha and San Francisco on 15 December 2020.

The airline will operate the San Francisco service with four flights per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Flight QR737 is scheduled to leave Doha (DOH) at 08:15 and land in San Francisco (SFO) at 12:55.

The return flight, QR738, is timed to depart San Francisco at 14:55 and arrive back in Doha at 17:15 the following day.

Qatar Airways will use an Airbus A350-900 aircraft on the route, featuring 36 seats in Qsuite Business Class and 247 seats in Economy Class.

The passenger flights to San Francisco will be able to carry up to 60 tonnes of belly hold capacity each week, each way.

The addition of San Francisco will build onto Qatar Airways’ current service to some of the most vibrant cities in the U.S., including Boston (BOS), Chicago (ORD), Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW), Houston (IAH), Los Angeles (LAX), New York (JFK), Philadelphia (PHL) and Washington, D.C. (IAD).

By mid-December, the carrier will fly 55 weekly flights to nine destinations in the U.S. connecting onwards to hundreds of American cities through its strategic partnerships with American Airlines and JetBlue.
