One of Tokyo's most luxurious hotels has reopened
for business.
With just 84 guestrooms, the Aman Tokyo is an urban sanctuary that prides itself on the
highest levels of refined service.
The design of each room and suite was inspired by
traditional Japanese residences. Blending wood, washi paper and
stone with modern technology and luxurious fabrics, they offer
magnificent views of the city below, including the Imperial Palace
Gardens and Mt Fuji on the horizon on clearer days.
Facilities at the Aman Tokyo include a Lounge, highly acclaimed
restaurant, and 2,500-square metre Aman Spa - one of the
largest in the city, which includes a 30-metre pool, gym, bath and
steam room.
One experience not to miss at the spa is The Kuromoji
Tea Journey, which celebrates one of Japan’s
best-loved natural ingredients – a spice bush with a woody
fragrance that is said to reduce anxiety and soothe the mind.
The
journey includes a body wrap comprising kuromoji clay with herbal
tea and a tension-releasing fully body massage utilizing Aman
Tokyo’s signature kuromoji oil.
Each suite at the Aman Spa is equipped with
a changing room, shower and steam room so that guests can enjoy
the experience from start to finish in complete privacy.
