The Airport Authority of Hong Kong has
appointed Julian Lee as Executive Director - Finance, reporting to
the CEO, Fred Lam.
Mr Lee will head the Finance Division, leading the
Financial Accounting Department and Treasury Department to
formulate strategies for the Airport Authority’s financial affairs, and also
oversee the operations of the Procurement and Legal Departments.
Mr Lee succeeds William Lo who stepped down in
early-April after a decade of service.
“Mr
Lee has a wealth of experience in corporate finance and investment
banking for over 20 years. With his solid financial background,
I’m confident that Mr Lee will bring his professionalism to the
team and continue to ensure that the AA operates according to
prudent commercial principles and best industry practices,” Mr Lam
said.
Prior to joining the Airport Authority, Mr Lee was a Managing
Director of Everbright Sun Hung Kai Co. Ltd. and has also served at
Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Ltd. and Merrill Lynch (Asia
Pacific) Ltd. in senior management positions.
He holds a
Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from
Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
