Scheduled to open in 2022, the Kimpton Mallorca

The hotel will operate under a
management agreement with Calvia Country Club S.A.
The 79-room luxury boutique hotel will be nestled
next to one of the islands most renowned golf courses, Santa
Ponsa Golf, on the site of the existing Santa Ponsa Country Club.
Located less than 30 minutes from Palma de Mallorca airport,
the Kimpton Mallorca will feature more than 300m of
multi-functional meeting space, a choice of two outdoor
pools, one of which will offer direct access to the beach, an
indoor pool, tennis courts, a yoga studio and a spa with 16
treatment rooms.
Karin Sheppard, SVP, Managing Director, Europe at
IHG said, Im particularly delighted to see the expansion
of our luxury portfolio in Southern Europe, home to so many
popular leisure destinations. We already have a strong presence in
both the mainstream and upscale segments and are now delighted to
be expanding our presence in the luxury space, too. This signing
once again shows the strength of our brands and the confidence
that owners and investors have in IHG.
