Accor has expanded its already considerable
portfolio of hotels in Indonesia with the opening of the ibis
Styles Bekasi Jatibening.
Located in the Grand Icon Complex, west of the
city, the hotel offers easy access to three major toll roads
leading to Jakarta and the Bekasi industrial area.
All 185 rooms at the hotel are equipped with a
43-inch LED TV and the signature Sweet Bed by ibis Styles. The
hotel also features a restaurant, a choice of meeting rooms and
event space including a ballroom with a capacity for up to 600
people, as well as a
kid’s corner, outdoor swimming pool, gym and in-room spa.
“The opening of ibis Styles Bekasi Jatibening is a good
addition to Accor’s economy brands in Indonesia. We are delighted
to introduce our upbeat and stylish brand with an affordable price
to the dynamic city of Bekasi and we look forward to playing a
role in its rapid and exciting growth,” said Garth Simmons, Chief
Operating Officer, Accor Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and South
Asia.
Bekasi is a city in West Java, in the
eastern suburb of Jakarta, that serves as a commuter city within
the Jakarta Metropolitan area. In addition to being a residential
area, Bekasi is experiencing strong industrial and trade
development, and as the city thrives, it will continue to develop
facilities that support the community, such as traditional and
modern markets, housing, schools, hospitals, etc. The position of Bekasi is also increasingly important with the access to toll
roads allowing faster connections between Bandung and Jakarta.
