Milestone Aviation, a GECAS company, has agreed to include six
Airbus H160 helicopters in its orderbook.
The helicopters will be used for a variety of
missions, including offshore transportation and emergency medical
services.
Delivery of the first helicopter is scheduled for 2023.
Speaking of the H160, Pat Sheedy, CEO of Milestone,
said, “It is a
versatile, multi-mission aircraft with the opportunity to be used
in a number of scenarios, particularly serving EMS operations. It
will be a valuable addition to our fleet and we’re already in
discussion with operators to place the aircraft into service as
soon as they are available.”

Group is one of the world’s leading helicopter leasing
and financing companies. Milestone has a fleet of helicopters worth
over US$5 billion plus a loan portfolio of approximately $300
million. The company supports over 45 customers in more than 30
countries serving a variety of industries, including offshore oil
and gas, search and rescue, emergency medical services, police
surveillance, mining and other utility missions.
The H160 has a range of 475nm and a MTOW of
6,050kg.
