Hyatt has expanded its luxury Park Hyatt brand to
Suzhou, China.
The Park Hyatt Suzhou, located near freshwater Jinji Lake in the heart of Suzhou Industrial Park, was designed by New York architectural
firm, Kohn Pedersen Fox, and features interiors by Hirsch Bedner
Associates.
The hotel's 178 rooms and suites range from 50 to
173 square meters and are “inspired by the sleeping chambers of
Ancient Suzhou mansions”.
Led by Executive Chef Vincenzo Carbone, Park
Hyatt Suzhou has three distinctive restaurants and bars - the
Xizhou Hall Chinese restaurant, the Living Room for light
refreshments and drinks throughout the day, and Apartment 208
which specialises in prime steak, sustainable seafood and
artisanal cold cuts and cheese paired with whiskies, wines and
Champagnes.
The hotel also features 2,400 square meters of
meeting and event space, a pool, fitness centre, and spa with six
treatment rooms.
Hyatt’s President of Global Operations for Greater
China, Stephen Ho, said, “We are thrilled to celebrate the opening
of Park Hyatt Suzhou and announce the introduction of the
exceptional, personalised Park Hyatt brand to this historic city,
which remains the refined home-away-from-home for global
connoisseurs in search of enriching experiences.”
