The Hari Hong Kong, a new hotel
straddling the two vibrant districts of Causeway Bay and Wan Chai, is scheduled to open on 12 December.
Tara Bernerd & Partners, a leading
international interior architecture and design practice, and Atkins, a global architecture firm, were
chosen to deliver the project. Rory Slater will oversee the
hotel’s operations as General Manager.
Dr. Aron Harilela, Chairman and
CEO of Harilela Hotels, said,
“We’re pleased to bring our very own brand, The Hari, from London
to Hong Kong. This is our home and I remain incredibly
optimistic about its future. I see The Hari Hong Kong as a beacon
for the city, and my hope is that its opening sends a clear and
strong message of our confidence in what lies ahead.”
The Hari Hong Kong will feature 210 guestrooms,
including three rooftop suites, and a variety of dining outlets. In a nod to The Hari London, a petrol blue lacquer
panelling accents various surfaces, whilst the rest of the palette
is dominated by amber leathers, grey marble, and neutral textured
linens.
The guestrooms have been designed to maximise the
space by opening up the bathrooms and wardrobes, whilst a system of
antique-brass Crittal doors enable the bathrooms to be closed off
when necessary.
Corner Rooms, larger than the standard guestrooms,
have been designed with an open layout and the addition of a
dressing room. Corner Rooms offer views of Causeway
Bay district, whilst Premium Corner Rooms overlook Wan Chai and
Admiralty.
Each suite at the hotel houses a five-piece
bathroom, a separate sitting room and its own private terrace.
“The Hari
brand’s homecoming is very meaningful to us. Beyond offering a
perfect night’s stay, The Hari Hong Kong fosters a deeper
appreciation for the neighbourhood and adds a little wit and charm
the experience as renowned by our sister hotel in London,” said
Rory Slater, GM.
To celebrate its opening, The Hari Hong Kong is
offering rates from HK$1,450+10% per
night, with HK$700 F&B credit per stay and late check-out till 3
p.m. The opening offer is valid until 31 March 2021. Terms and
conditions may apply.
