In addition to three one-way repatriation flights
to/from
London Heathrow, and two to/from
Frankfurt, Germany in
August, Thai
Airways has confirmed that it will also operate two such flights to/from
Taipei next month.
Flight TG632 is scheduled to take place on 5 and
14
August 2020, departing Suvarnabhumi (BKK) at 08:25 and arriving at
Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport (TPE) in Taipei at 13:05.
Tickets between Bangkok and Taipei are being sold as
one-way tickets and cost 8,500 THB for Economy Class and 22,660
THB for Business Class. Terms and conditions apply.
The return flight, TG633, will be used to carry stranded Thais in
Taiwan back home.
Cargo
will also be delivered on both departure and arrival flights.
The Thai flag carrier will operate the flight with
an Airbus A330 aircraft,
adhering to strict COVID19 preventive measures, including a
revised meal
service, cabin crew wearing PPE, and others. Passengers must wear a
face mask during the flight.
The airline suspended all international flights in
March 2020 and is currently hoping to gradually resume services
later this year.
