Thai Airways will operate two one-way
repatriation flights to and from Frankfurt, Germany, next month.
The flights are scheduled to take place on 10 and
21 August 2020 with TG922 departing Bangkok at 12:25 and arriving
in Frankfurt at 19:00.
Tickets between Bangkok and Frankfurt are sold as
one-way tickets and cost 17,910 THB for Economy Class and 96,125
THB for Business Class.
The return flight, TG923, is scheduled to depart
from Frankfurt at 21:00 and land at Suvarnabhumi at 13:00 the
following day. The flight will be used to carry stranded Thais in
Germany back home.
Thais and foreigners in Germany who meet the
necessary requirements and wish to be repatriated to Thailand must
register for the Frankfurt-Bangkok flight with the
Thai Embassy.
Cargo
will also be delivered on both departure and arrival flights.
The Thai flag carrier will operate both flights
adhering to strict COVID19 preventive measures, including the meal
service, cabin crew wearing PPE and others. Passengers must wear a
face mask during the flight.
The airline suspended all international flights in
March 2020 and is currently hoping to gradually resume services in
September, at the earliest.
