Vietnam Airlines has further reduced its domestic
flight schedule.
Up to 15 April 2020, the airline will only operate
one return flight between Hanoi - Saigon, Hanoi - Danang and
Saigon - Danang.
All other domestic routes have been suspended
until further notice.
Since 25 March, all Vietnam Airlines' aircraft serving domestic routes
are disinfected after they land in Hanoi, Danang, and Saigon.
Plus, all aircraft operated during the day will be
disinfected once more at the end of the day.
All flight crews,
including pilots, flight attendants, and technical staff members,
are equipped with personal protective equipment (PPE) such as
protective overalls, gloves, masks, and safety glasses.
Body temperature checks and an electronic health declaration
are required of all passengers and flight crews before
embarkation, while adequate physical distance is maintained
between seats on board.
All passengers are also requested to wear
masks during their flights and will be denied boarding if
suspected of COVID19 infection.
The
new flight schedule is subject to change.
