Marriott has expanded its rapidly growing
portfolio of hotels in China with the opening of the Fuzhou
Marriott Hotel Riverside, the 3rd Marriott brand hotel in Fujian
province.
The new hotel enjoys a prime
location in the heart of Donghu Digital Town in Changle district,
Fuzhou's ultramodern innovation, business and lifestyle hub.
With over 2,200 years of history, Fuzhou attracts
both domestic and international visitors with its rich cultural
heritage and traditional crafts as well as unique local
cuisines.
Major attractions include the famous historical street
of ten ancient lanes called Three Lanes and Seven Alleys, Drum
Mountain and Xichan Temple.
Fuzhou is the capital of Fujian, and
makes an ideal base from which to explore other areas of the province,
including Xiamen, Wuyi Mountain and the famous UNESCO World
Heritage-listed Fujian Tulou earthen houses, dating back to the
17th century.
"Fuzhou is a vibrant and exciting city which
offers so much for both business and leisure visitors to see and
do," said Jacky Gao, General Manager, Fuzhou Marriott Hotel
Riverside. "With our guest-focused amenities, services and
philosophy, we strive to anticipate our guests' every need during
their stay with us. This frees their minds to travel and to be
inspired, allowing them to make the most of their visit to this
amazing destination."
The hotel features a wedding chapel, 318 guest
rooms and suites, a variety of F&B outlets, 1,750
square meters of meeting space, an indoor heated
pool, a yoga room and a 24-hour fitness center.
Fuzhou Changle International
Airport is located 13 kilometers, or about 15 minutes' drive away
from the hotel.
