The Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa in Petaling Jaya has
donated its hotel amenities to the Sungai Buloh Hospital, one of
the designated facilities treating COVID19 patients in Malaysia
A total of
14,525 items packed in boxes were donated to the hospital by the hotel.
Dr. Kuldip Kaur, Director of Sungai Buloh
Hospital, said, “We would like to extend our utmost gratitude to
Sunway Resort for their donation of essential items for our staff
handling COVID19 patients as well as for the patient’s usage. We
greatly appreciate the kindness rendered at this crucial time.”
“There are many silent heroes in the medical
profession who are working tirelessly to put our needs ahead of
theirs, and in the midst of this battle to prevent the spread of
COVID19, we are heartened to donate some of our hotels amenities
for their patients and staff’s needs,” said Alex Castaldi, Senior
General Manager of Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa. “The items donated
include shower gels and shampoos, shower caps, vanity kits,
gloves, used pillows and blankets. We hope that this contribution
will assist in the personal hygiene and comfort of both the
patients and staff at this crucial time.”
