American Airlines has appointed Alice
Curry as Vice President of Customer Care.
Alice
succeeds Jon Carlo Gulbranson who has been appointed as Vice
President of Operations and Crew Performance.
Alice will lead a team of 7,500 global
professionals and will report to Kerry Philipovitch, Senior Vice President of
Customer Experience.
Alice began her career with American in Revenue Management in
1996. She has since held numerous positions in Marketing, aa.com,
Distribution and Inflight Dining.
Most recently, she served as
Managing Director of Customer Loyalty and Insights, where she was
responsible for leading American Airlines AAdvantage program.
“Alice’s extensive experience across
American, combined with her passion for customer service, drive
for continuous improvement and support for American’s team
members, make her the perfect fit for this critical role,” Kerry
said. “As we head toward the peak summer travel period, our
customers and team members will benefit from Alice’s leadership
and commitment to providing a world-class customer experience.”
Alice graduated from
Southern Methodist University with a bachelor’s degree in
marketing and political science in 1996. She received a full merit
scholarship to Cornell University, where she earned a Master of
Business Administration in 2002. She is an advocate for advancing
women in the aviation industry and has partnered with the Forté
Foundation to expand American’s female leadership pipeline through
targeted recruitment efforts.
